Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission – If you’ve lost your pet in Milwaukee County this is where to look.  MADACC is the facility that holds stray and homeless domestic pets for their owners to locate them.  Pets are held for 7 days for owners to claim them.  After that, the adoptable ones are offered to various Humane Societies and Rescue groups for rehoming.

 

Creature Comforts – Creature Comforts provides old fashioned house call service for dogs and cats in SE Wisconsin.  They promote health and wellbeing through a blend of traditional Western medicine and holistic care.  Creature Comforts also has a low cost spay/neuter program for pets and owners that qualify. 

 

Petfinder – This is one of the best places to look for a new pet.  They have listings from many shelters and rescues throughout the country.  You can search by sex, breed, age and location.
